Meet Rob Vargo!

From humble beginnings in Sterling Heights, Michigan, to becoming the largest privately held golf company owner in Michigan, my journey has been nothing short of incredible.

 

In 1987, I took a leap of faith with just a $10k loan to start my first business. Fast forward to 1997, and that dream turned into a multi-million dollar enterprise acquired by a Fortune 500 company!

 

My passion for golf led me to purchase the Bruce Hills Golf Club in 1997 and has since allowed me to transform several golf properties, including the beloved Myth Golf and Banquets. What an unforgettable moment it was to see our community come together for the grand reopening in 2007. In 2008 Rob Vargo invested in the Hampton Golf Club in Rochester Hills, MI and the beloved Golden Hawk golf and banquets in 2015 where he transform not just the championship 18 hole golf course with driving range in something beautiful but also turned the property into a wedding destination for all to enjoy.

 

Now, I’m proud that my legacy continues with my children working alongside me in Vargo Golf. Together, we’re dedicated to providing quality service, delicious food, and fun experiences for all our guests.

Beyond golf, I’m actively involved in various community clubs and charitable events, striving to make a positive impact on children’s education and homelessness in our society.
